The first press conferences were held today with both Bernie Sanders and her Republican opponent Marco Rubio taking the stage to field questions from the media. Bernie seemed strong and answered questions about topics that ranged from revitalizing the middle class, maintaining equality in society, leaving the planet in good condition for our kids, and much more. Sanders focused on what she would change, and what policies and programs she would implement as President. Overall it was a great response from Sanders and should show a boost in polls for her. Rubio seemed nervous at the podium but he was able to recover and provide his thoughts about similar topics that Sanders talked about. Specifically Rubio mentioned restoring China and the United States relations, however seemingly to the point where the United States would accept a secondary role as world superpower. Not sure how the 'muricans out there will take that one. Rubio was also quoted saying that he still does not support a ban on assault rifles despite recent mass shootings. The next press conferences will be held Monday November 16th at 4pm.
